About The Role

Morrison Telecom Services is focused on the design, build and maintenance of telecom infrastructure for key clients in the fixed telecom market. We are part of the Telecom Division of M Group Services. We deliver a range of essential infrastructure services to the utilities, transport, data and telecom sectors across the UK and Ireland.

We are looking for a Field Based Co-Ordinator to be part of our Telecom Contract in the UK.

What will you be doing?

As a Field based Coordinator you will be the interface between the client and the supply chain on site. You will be responsible for ensuring all operative’s based on the field are carrying out work in accordance to the specification set by the client.

What will your key responsibilities be?

  • Responsible for auditing operational gangs.
  • Meeting all key stake holders on the field ensuring key delivery dates are met. (Openreach, Local Authorities, Customers and potential customers).
  • Liaising with the Operational Coordinator you will assist with the vetting of upcoming work orders to ensuring Operatives are suitably skilled and competent for the works that they are doing.
  • Recording updates for ongoing and completed works; ensuring the Operation Coordinator is kept up to date with works progress.
  • Regularly liaising with management to ensure that all completed works are recorded and logged.
  • Dealing with any quality issues in a timely fashion and supply the client with dates for them to be resolved.

  • Appreciation of the fibre network and infrastructure
