About The Role

This is an exciting time to be joining Avonline Networks,due to new growth within the business we are pleased to announce a new opportunity for a Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate must have experience of working in the MOD, Public services or Government selling services.

The candidate must be able to leverage that experience and readily create new business opportunities for Avonline Network Services Ltd across any of its product and service areas, you must be able to demonstrate that they can to take Avonline’s products and expand existing and new markets. This will include to analyse the applicable market and devise and implement successful strategies to create new customer leads and secure new business in these areas.

You would be required to identify and understand thecustomer needs, to take Avonline’s products and services and independently create a customer focused value proposition in order to secure new business with any new customer. You will be responsible for, successfully approaching and engaging newly targeted customers.

In the course of the business development activities it is expected that the candidate will secure the opportunity to bid for new works.The candidate will be responsible for the bid management of the Avonline offers within the existing company processes.

The Candidate will be responsible for creating anew business pipeline and managing all new business opportunities and enquiries from new customers. The Candidate will need to work with other Sales team members to ensure that any opportunities that affect current accounts and customers are managed appropriately. The candidate will be responsible for taking all new opportunities through the complete sales cycle and process ensuring that all commercial agreements are in place and a successful hand over to operations is carried out.

·         Understand Customers long term business strategy

·         Participate in marketing, planning, strategy creation and execution

·         Increase customer satisfaction via feedback analysis and improvement actions

·         Generate sales forecasts, Budgets and demand plans

·         Make relevant commercial, legal, financial management decisions
