About The Role

Morrison Telecom Services operates as a Telecommunication Infrastructure Services Company and is part of the Telecom Division of M Group Services. We deliver a range of essential infrastructure services to the utilities, transport, data and telecom sectors across the UK and Ireland.


We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to be part of our Quality Assurance team working closely within the SHEQ Division across the UK and Ireland. There are 3 positions available, one in Liverpool, One in the East of England (Bury St Edmunds) and one in Scotland (Blantyre).


What will you be doing?

  •  You will be part of the businesses Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality team leading on Quality Assurance, Auditing, Coaching, Development, Assessment and Accreditation.
  •  You will be one of three Quality Assurance Managers and responsible for a specific region.
  • The role involves the Management of a team of Auditors and Assessors who will be instrumental in the execution of the key areas of compliance.
  • The role involves working closely with the various business unit leads, clients and suppliers to ensure that all standards are understood, met and complied with.
  • The role will be heavily focused on compliance with our ISO 9001 accreditation to ensure continuous effective control is maintained.


The role involves leading from within the team and being visible on the ground level to promote and encourage strong leadership.


What will your key responsibilities be?


  • Determining and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards and specifications
  • Assessing client requirements and ensuring these are met
  • Understanding, communicating and agreeing client standards to the business
  • Specifying material requirements with suppliers to ensure compliance with our Build, Inspection and Test Plans
  • Investigating and setting standards for quality relating to health and safety matters
  • Working with operational staff to establish processes standards, systems and procedures are effective
  • Writing management and technical reports for clarity on direction
  • Maintaining training needs for the business as we evolve
  • Acting as a catalyst for change and improvement in performance and quality
  • Directing objectives to maximise profitability
  • Recording, analysing and distributing statistical information
  • Monitoring performance
  • Supervising your operational staff

  • Proven track record in Quality Management (preferably in the Telecommunications sector)
  • Relevant IQA qualifications
