About The Role

Magdalene are currently looking to recruit a number of Copper Engineers. Working in a team of two, you will be working on telecoms project work in the South East of England, however travel may be required occasionally. 

As a Copper Engineer you will have experience of cabling and copper jointing activities on the BT network.
Your duties and responsibilities will be:
  • Installation of side pods
  • Copper installations and terminations
  • Installation of hybrid cables
  • Performing jointer assist activities 
  • Carrying out compressions
Qualifications required:

The following BT accreditations are desirable but not essential as they can be delivered in house: A9, F5, K8, N3, N23, N24

The following Health and Safety certification is essential:

  • Streetworks - Unit 2 Operatives
  • Emergency First Aid at Work
  • IOSH Working Safely
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Manual Handling
  • DBS Check
