About The Role

Morrison Telecom Services operates as a Telecommunication Infrastructure Services Company and is part of the Telecom Division of M Group Services. We deliver a range of essential infrastructure services to the utilities, transport, data and telecom sectors across the UK and Ireland.

We are looking for a Performance Manager to be part of our ONSA Project Team, reporting into the Head of Delivery. This role is based in the North West of England at our Bootle depot.

What will you be doing?

Your role will be to manage performance against a set of KPI’s covering operational delivery, health & safety, streetworks and quality to ensure compliance across the North West (Lancashire, Cumbria, Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire)

This role fits within our Bootle team and you will be tasked with identifying and troubleshooting any potential risks as well as providing regular performance updates to internal stakeholders and the customer. It is imperative to establish an excellent working relationship with our other performance managers to ensure a standardised national approach across all projects.

What will your key responsibilities be?

  • Regularly reporting on and reviewing performance levels versus the targets set and communicating this with the customer
  • Early identification of any areas that may not meet required standards and create/execute plans to minimise or remove any risks
  • Agreeing monthly performance outturn, including service credits
  • Providing a monthly executive summary to be presented to the MTS Board
  • Supporting the Operations Centre Manager in providing continuous improvement to processes and systems to maximise efficiency of our Operations Centre functions
  • Attending weekly meetings to support our Premium Services Managers
  • Providing cover for the Operations Centre Manager and Head of Delivery as required
  • Supporting our Traffic Management control function with process maximisation
  • Building solid relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and the customer

  • Well organised with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Confident in dealing with different people across the businesses, including the client and supply chain
  • Strong IT skills using Microsoft packages
  • Proven experience of dealing with high profile clients
  • A can-do attitude with the ability to resolve problems quickly and effectively
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
